One Simple Thing Most People Forget To Do
Let's talk about something...”
“No, I don't have time.”
“Sorry, I can't do it right now.”
Many times, a lot of us we find ourselves in situations where people are not talking enough. It could be us or it could be the other person. It happens in relationships. Has that ever happened to you? Do you ever want someone to communicate a little bit more and it's not happening?
You see, I've realised along my journey that communication is probably one of the best-kept secrets of keeping a relationship together. Not everybody is a mind-reader, so if you don't communicate, how is the other person supposed to know how you feel, what you want, what is going through your mind?
Once you learn the power of communication, not only does your relationship get better, you also get more respect for each other because you get to see where each other is coming from. But before you can have communication, you need to make time and a lot of people really want to talk, it's just that they don't have time.
Well, start making time. Start prioritising that communication time to make your relationship even better. But moreso realise if you are in a relationship where there is no communication, you don't have to tolerate that. You can go somewhere where there is going to be a high amount of communication and both of you would just say: “Feels so good to be alive baby! Can I get a hello?”
